Less than a month before she takes the stage at the Broadway Theatre for the first time, Carly Rae Jepsen is trading in pop star fashion for fairytale ballgowns. On January 7, the incoming title star of Cinderella posted photos on Instagram of her costume fitting with legendary designer William Ivey Long, who won his sixth Tony Award for the show. After donning Cinderella’s incredible satin confection (above), Jepsen wrote, “First day on set and they let me try on the wedding dress! They had to bribe me with smarties to take it off. Let’s play dress up again tmr please!” Moving on to her character's ice-blue dress with puffy crystal sleeves (below), Jepsen wrote, “And this is the moment I tried on the glass slipper for the first time... it fits!” See the star in costume, singing Rodgers & Hammerstein's score opposite incoming Prince Topher Joe Carroll, beginning February 4!
